How Asus got its name

Asus is a tech company that has been developing computing equipment since 1990. Although their circuit boards were very popular for more than 10 years ago, the company rose to fame recently with its laptops, and more after that, with its tablets. Asus even makes a flagship tablet for Google’s Android ecosystem, but the interesting, yet useless story is this: How did the company get its name:

Asus was originally named Pegasus. Pegasus is the symbol of success and rebirth in greek mythology, but they did not stop there. They wanted to be on top of the list when it was coming to their products, so they changed their name to Asus. Now they appeared at the top, or just after Apple on any alphabetical list! After that the company went on making millions of circuits or full devices every year and makes billions of dollars in revenues!
