You wouldn’t suppose that one of the most brilliant directors of all time would have difficulty in obtaining a degree in filmmaking, right? Wrong! Steven Spielberg did not get a degree until 2002, and when asked to submit a film that demonstrated proficiency he submitted Schindler’s List, that he directed in 1992! This is just one of amazing facts around Steven Spielberg:
Steven Spielberg is famous for his use of flashlights through the mist, creating iconic cinematography. He has used the technique in most of his best works including E.T. The Extra Terrestrial and Jurassic Park! E.T. is also around a popular theme he is directing, of people discovering something extraordinary. This is also true of Raiders of the Lost Ark, in which he got to work with his close friend George Lucas.
Right now, Spielberg is producing over 15 new films including a Transformers sequel, Jurassic Park IV and he is planning to direct Indiana Jones 5.
