Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, combined with our favorite TV Show! Let’s see some amazing facts about Christmas with FRIENDS!

1.The gang’s first Christmas together, is on season 1, episode 10 “The one with the Monkey“, on 1994!

2. The episode starts when Phoebe Buffay notes that it is snowing outside, while Monica, Rachel, Chandler and Joey are decorating Monica and Rachel’s apartment!

3. Ugly naked guy still lives across the street and Ross appears with the monkey “Marcel”!

4. They all go to Central Perk to have some coffee, while Rachel is serving them.

5. Chandler suggests they all spend New Year’s Eve together as they are all single, except Rachel, but Paolo will be away on holidays!

6. Phoebe meets the scientist, and her new boyfriend David!

7. The next Christmas episode on friends aired on 14 December 1995 Season 2 Episode 9!

8. Monica and Rachel are broke and they’re tipping the postman with cookies!

9. Rachel is angry at Ross for writing a list about Rachel’s pros and cons!

10. As Phoebe says, it’s “Christmas Eve eve“!

11. Phoebe finds out that her real father is not the model who appears in photo frames!

12. Chandler and Joey take Phoebe to her father’s place and instead she gets to meet her brother!

13. The episode ends with the gang gathered in Monica’s place exchanging gifts! Chandler and Joey bought the lamest gifts!!!

15. It aired on December 12, 1996!

16. Gunther asks Rachel to be trained again as a waitress! Eventually she really is bad at this job even though she’s working in Central Perk for two and a half years!

17. Ross and Rachel are a couple!

18. Ross accidentally breaks a little girls leg! The little girl was a brown bird at the time, and she was selling cookies, because the girl who would sell the most would win a space trip!

19. With a broken leg she could not persuade her goal anymore so Ross decided to sell cookies for her in order to make it up!

20. Phoebe is against cutting trees for decorating!

21. Joey is selling Christmas trees at the time, and he is visited by Phoebe where she freaks out seeing all those old Christmas trees going to waste and she tries to resell them!!!!

22. Rachel finally quits her job as a waitress, and decides to start persuading her dream job. She did find a new job just a little closer to her dream job, although again she had to serve coffee at her boss!

23. The brown bird girl did not win the contest, but Ross, Joey and Chandler created a space themed night for her!

24. The gang surprises Phoebe by saving several used Christmas trees, and gathering them all in Monica’s apartment!

25. Next,  Season 4 Episode 10 – The One With The Girl From Poughkeepsie! Another Christmas episode, aired on Dec 18, 1997!

26. Joey manages to stuff 15 oreos in his mouth and after that he offers us an amazing oreo-filled smile!!!!!

27. Rachel is single and lonely, Chandler is dating Cathy, and suggests to find Rachel a date from his work, but he messes up!!!

28. Monica is frustrated because in the restaurant she works as a head-chef, her colleagues are giving her a hard time!

29. She hires Joey as a waiter, in order to fire him and prove her power to the rest of the crew!

30. Joey wants to keep the job because of the good revenue+tips he receives!

31. But things get tougher, and Monica’s team bullies her and finally Joey sticks to the initial plan and Monica fires him!!! Then everybody is respectful of Monica!

32. Ross on the other hand, started dating a girl who lives in Poughkeepsie!!!

33. But that didn’t turn out well, Poughkeepsie was 2,5 hours away and one time he didn’t make it to his date because he fell asleep in the train!!!

34. The episode concludes in the sweetest way, with Phoebe dedicating one of her weird songs to the gang she loves so much!

42. Joey disappointed for losing another audition, decides to write his own story with Ross’ guidance!!!

43. Instead they created a new game! Fireball!!!!

45. Ready for some more??? Season 6 Episode 10 – The One With The Routine, aired on 16 December, 1999!

46. First scene of the episode, everybody’s decorating the Christmas tree in Monica’s apartment!

47. Monica and Chandler are finally a couple!!!!!!!!

48. Janine is Joeys new attractive roommate, he is in love with her!

49. She invites Joey at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, which is in fact a real annual show that airs every year in New York Television!

50. The Geller siblings are “nerdly” enthusiastic about the show, Janine invites them too, and they are getting the chance to perform “the routine”. A dance routine they created in their childhood!

51. While the siblings are marching in the event, Phoebe and Rachel are secretly searching every corner of the apartment, trying to find the Christmas gifts of Monica!! Chandler fails to stand in their way and he is kind of humiliated because Phoebe and Rachel find Chandler’s jewelry box!!!!!!

52. The siblings are persistently trying to get a place on the platform because they want to be seen!

53. Joey tries to win Janine and is hoping for the kiss after the count down!

54. It is so hard not to laugh! NEXT:  Season 7: Episode 10: The Holiday Armadillo, aired on 14 December 2000!!!

55. An amazing episode! Phoebe walks in Monica’s place holding her mom’s scalp. Everyone freaks out, but Phoebe explains that her mom used to put it out every Christmas to remind Phoebe and Ursula that even though it’s Christmas people still die!

56. Phoebe’s apartment is renewed after the fire, but Chandler gave Phoebe the impression that Rachel doesn’t want to leave Joey’s apartment and move back in with her, and she comes up with many plans in order for Rachel to move back in with her!

57. Ross has his son Ben for the holidays and he is trying really hard to teach him about Hanukkah!!

58. Ross dressed as an Armadillo tries to make Hanukkah appealing for Ben, but then Chandler interrupted him dressed as Santa Claus!!! Eventually everything turned out well!

59. For the first time in the same season there is a second holiday themed episode! Season 7, Episode 9, The One with All the Candy, aired on 7 December 2000!!! Ross gives Phoebe a bike for Christmas and teaches her how to ride a bike. Rachel is dating her assistant Tag and almost gets discovered! Monica goes above and beyond making Christmas candy for the neighbors!!!

60. Next:  Season 8 Episode 11 – The One With The Creepy Holiday Card (a.k.a. The One With Ross’s Step Forward), aired 13 December 2001!

61. Rachel is in the 4th month of her pregnancy, and her hormones are going a little crazy!

62. Ross is dating Mona. She suggests they sent a holiday card as a couple, but he totally freaks out!

63. Monica and Chandler are married, and they are trying to avoid Chandler’s boss!

64. Eventually Ross gives Mona a key to his apartment but it is the only key to his apartment!!!

65. Phoebe introduces a ‘virgin soul’ to Rachel in order to help her out with her hormones!

66. Season 9 Episode 10 – The One With Christmas In Tulsa aired on 12 December 2002!

67. Chandler has to spend Christmas and New Year’s Eve in Tulsa.

68. It is hard for Monica that Chandler is away.

69. Many flashbacks of the gang are displayed. It is an emotional episode!

70. Chandler realizes he hates his job, he quits and comes back to New York, to his wife and lovely  friends!
