The last occuring case of variola

‘Valiola’ or ‘Smallpox’ , the infectious disease, which caused numerous deaths around the world, is believed to have emerged in human populations about 10,000 BC. Smallpox localized in small blood vessels of the skin, as well as in the mouth and throat.

Regarding skin, it used to raise fluid-filled blisters.

The last occuring case of  variola was diagnosed in October 26, 1977.
