  2. He is an American comedian, podcast host, and mixed martial arts color commentator.
  3. He has also worked as a television host and an actor.
  4. He was born on August 11th, 1967 in New Jersey.
  5. He is of three-quarters Italian and one-quarter Irish descent.
  6. His father, Joseph, is a former police officer in Newark.
  7. Rogan’s parents divorced when he was five, and he has not been in contact with his father since he was seven.
  8. He has mentioned that his father was violent, so all he remembers of him are flashes of domestic violence
  9. From ages 7 to 11, the family lived in San Francisco, California.
  10. Then they moved to Gainesville, Florida when he was eleven.
  11. They settled outside Boston in Newton Upper Falls, Massachusetts, where Rogan attended Newton South High School, from which he graduated in 1985.
  12. Rogan participated in Little League Baseball but developed an interest in martial arts in his early teens.
