Chris Stapleton: 20 facts about the artist

If you are a country music lover, then you know Chris Stapleton.

The artist is known for his music and these days he created a buzz around his name because he won big at the 2018 CMAs Wednesday night, taking home three coveted awards.

1. Stapleton was born April 15, 1978.
2. He was born in Kentucky.

4. He has an older brother, Herbert Joseph III and younger sister, Melanie Brooke.
5. The artist grew up in the small town of Staffordsville, Kentucky.

8. Chris Starleton moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2001 to pursue a music career.

10. In 2007, he became the frontman for the bluegrass group The Steeldrivers.
