James Blake is an English singer, songwriter, musician and record producer.

1. He was born on 26 September 1988.
2. He was born in London.
3. James Blake is the son of musician James Litherland.
4. Since he was a young boy, he liked music and showed an early interest in it.
5. He received classical training in piano as a child,and completed primary education at Grange Park Primary School, Winchmore Hill.
6. He attended Goldsmiths, University of London, where he received a degree in Popular Music.
7. He and some friends hosted a series of “Bass Society” music nights that featured UK artists such as Distance, Skream and Benga.
