Absoultely ridiculous. As an Australian, I can debunk this easily. Our country isn't all desert, our wildlife doesn't kill you, and crocodiles are uncommon.
Sure, you may find the odd daddy-long-legs or huntsman, but grab a thong and slap it and you're all good. Don't believe a WORD of this article.
