Video games have become a part of pop culture. With many titles gaining worldwide recognition and a rapid fanbase.

So let’s dive into some trivia and facts about these video game franchises.

  1. Minecraft is a sandbox video game developed by Mojang Studios
  2. It was created by Markus “Notch” Persson in the Java programming language
  3. It was released as a public alpha for personal computers in 2009
  4. The game was officially released in November 2011
  5. With Jens Bergensten taking over development around then
  6. Minecraft has since been ported to various platforms
