When we get to know people we quite often ask them about their music tastes, as it reveals many things about their character, as well as lifestyle.

So, what are people’s characteristics based on their music tastes?

Fans of  pop, country and soundtrack music are usually more conventional and conservative, cheerful, outgoing and sociable.

Fans of hip hop, funk, rap, soul, dance and electronic music attracts talkative, extrovert, and romantic people. Those people like going to parties and find social recognition important.

Fans of classical, jazz and other ‘complex’ music are considered to be quite  intelligent, creative and open to new experiences.

Fans of alternative, heavy metal, rock music and gangsta rap tend to be people who enjoy taking risks and having thrilling experiences. Also, they are curious, independent and rebellious.
