Walt Disney was not Cryonically Frozen

Walt Disney, founder of The Walt Disney Company, died in December 15, 1966 just before the release of his final film, The Jungle Book. There is an urban legend, that his body was cryonically frozen. This rumor is circulating for many famous people but they circulate for little time. In Disney’s case things are different.

The rumor extends to say that his body remains frozen under the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland. This could not even be true since cryonically frozen bodies require too much equipment to function properly. Let alone bodies that were cremated, like Disney’s in December 17, 1966. According to Wikipedia, his daughter Diane Disney has stated “There is absolutely no truth to the rumor that my father, Walt Disney, wished to be frozen. I doubt that my father had ever heard of cryonics.”
