In exchange for allowing filming in their home, the homeowners declined the normal location fee from the production company and instead asked the producers to donate the fee to pediatric brain tumor research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The producers agreed and have donated additional funds to this research beyond the typical location fee.
