  2. It was developed by Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, and Sallie Patrick.
  3. The first season stars Elizabeth Gillies as Fallon Carrington, Grant Show as her father Blake Carrington, Nathalie Kelley as Blake’s new wife Cristal, and James Mackay as his son Steven, with Robert Christopher Riley as chauffeur Michael Culhane, Sam Adegoke as tech billionaire Jeff Colby, Rafael de la Fuente as Sam “Sammy Jo” Jones, Cristal’s nephew and Steven’s love interest, and Alan Dale as Joseph Anders, the Carrington majordomo.

The series later introduced Alexis Carrington (Nicollette Sheridan/Elaine Hendrix), Blake’s and Jeff’s ex-wife and the mother of Adam, Steven, Fallon and Amanda, Anders’s daughter Kirby (Maddison Brown), Blake’s third wife Cristal Jennings (Ana Brenda Contreras/Daniella Alonso), Blake and Alexis’s long-missing son, Adam Carrington (Sam Underwood), Blake’s half-sister and Jeff and Monica’s mother Dominique Deveraux (Michael Michele), Fallon’s husband Liam Ridley (Adam Huber), and Alexis’s secret daughter by Blake, Amanda Carrington (Eliza Bennett).

  14. In the season two premiere “Twenty-Three Skidoo”, Gillies sings a 1920s version of “Bizarre Love Triangle” by New Order.

  25. It was reported that if production resumed by late fall 2020, season four would be expected to premiere in spring 2021 or later, and The CW’s president Mark Pedowitz announced that all of the network’s series would be producing “our normal episodic counts” for the post-pandemic season.

  31. Grant Show (Blake Carrington) and Katherine LaNasa (Ada Stone) are married in real life. They previously starred together in the last season of Devious Maids.
  32. Every episode title, aside from ‘A Well-Dressed Tarantula’ and ‘A Line From the Past,’ is a reference to a line from the original Dynasty series.
  33. ‘Enter Alexis’ and ‘New Lady in Town’ reference the episode titles of the same name from the original series, in which Alexis Carrington and Dominique Deveraux are formally introduced, respectively.

  37. Just like the original Δυναστεία (1981), the show’s German title is “Der Denver-Clan” which translates to “The Clan of Denver” – even though the remake is set in Atlanta.
  38. They even make fun of the idea of the Denver location as being far too cold in Dynasty: I Hardly Recognized You (2017).

  40. Fallon also has a middle name which is Morell. She even used it when naming her company—the Morell Green Energy Corporation.
