In Bloodline they play strangers but Pasquale is sleeping with Murcianos fiancé Meg (Linda Cardellini) but in Marry Me Murcianos plays the best friend of Pasquale who tries to marry his best friends on again off again fiancé.

- The creators were intrigued by the idea of casting Kyle Chandler, whose on-screen persona in Friday Night Lights was warm and inviting, to play the ostensibly noble but deeply flawed John Rayburn. They met with Chandler in Austin, Texas, and pitched the part.
