Cleopatra, the last active pharaoh of Ancient Egypt, was not only a powerful and beautiful woman but also a person who could speak many languages, due to her strategic duties.
She is said to have been a member of the Ptolemaic dynasty, a family of Greek origin that ruled Egypt after Alexander the Great‘s death during the Hellenistic period.
The Ptolemies, throughout their dynasty, spoke Greek and refused to speak Egyptian, which is the reason why Greek as well as Egyptian languages were used on official court documents
However, Cleopatra did learn to speak Egyptian, as well as Greek (native language), the languages of the Medes, Parthians, Jews, Arabs, Syrians, Trogodytae, and Ethiopians.

Cleopatra speak Macedonian language ! This is different that greek language ! It's third language on Rosetta stone and is very similar with recent Macedonian language ! The third text of Rosetta stone was been decode by Macedonian scientist Tome Boshevski and Aristotel Tentov ! They proved the links between ancient Macedonian language and the modern Macedonian language which is currently speaking in Macedonia (temporary named Fyrom)! All Macedonian child has no problem with learning and speaking this ancient Macedonian language who speak Cleopatra (coming from similarly with modern Macedonian language)! I'm Macedonian and I already know speak and write this ancient Macedonian language ! This is clear true ! It's not greek but Macedonian language !!!!
