4 feelings only humans can have!

Supposing you are one of the people who do not really believe in aliens I am guessing you have worked out that humans are the dominant life form on this planet. As a matter of fact our mind has developed a number of feelings that no other animal can possess.

1. Actually speaking is found nowhere else. Although parrots can mimic speech, they do not actually understand what they are saying. The only animal capable of communication through speech is humans.
2. Only humans are capable of laughing. Freud famously said that “There is no such thing as a joke”. As a matter of fact laughter only exists as a form of social acceptance.
3. Mental illness is a human trait. Currently 1% of the world population is suffering from schizophrenia and 1 in 4 people you will meet will suffer from a major depressive episode at least once in their lives.
4. Crying. Although other animals cry from fear (see: crocodiel tears) only humans can shed emotional tears.
