Apparently, we are not through with the middle ages yet. A Washington Times report, informs us about a new law in Swaziland that bans witches from flying with brooms in an altitude of over 500 feet.
In Swaziland, where broom-flying seems to be a serious business, the law also applies for toy helicopters and kites. The law mentions broom-stick flying witches before those other stuff that might fall into the category of uncertified flying equipment, and a detective has already been prosecuted for flying a toy helicopter to gather intelligence.
UPDATE: Swaziland officials issued a statement saying that the story, originally shared on The Washington Times is patently false and nowhere near the truth, adding that the news is a disgrace to their nation.
