Although you may think that London is an extremely large city, the City of London is a small jurisdiction within the Greater London. It has its own mayor, that holds the title of “The Right Honourable, The Lord Mayor of London” and is governing a pretty small number of people. As a matter of fact, the City of London is home to just 11.000 people. However, the elections are much more complicated since companies that have their headquarters in the City of London get to vote as well. Their number of votes is corelated to how big the company is, appointing one voter for every 5 employees!
