Hedy Lamarr (9 November 1914 – 19 January 2000) was an Austrian actress in the ‘Golden Age’ and inventor, as well as a very beautiful woman.
She was famous for her exotic dark beauty and was called as the “most beautiful woman in Europe”.
Moreover, she was mathematically talented as she invented an early technique for spread spectrum communications and frequency hopping, necessary for wireless communication from the pre-computer age to the present day!
