How much of San Fransisco’ s pollution comes from East Asia

The postdoctoral researcher Stefanie Ewing concluded that 29% of San Francisco’s air pollution comes from China.

For about six months a team of researchers and geochemists collected pollution samples,  from both an urban and a coastal location in San Fransisco, having previously developed a method so that the PM2.5 could be traced and measured.
