Loki is another, super-cool, amazing, fictional Marvel’s superhero, also seen in Thor movies! Let’s see some amazing facts and trivia about him!

1.Loki is a male fictional superhero!

2. He appeared in American Comic Books published by Marvel Comics!

3. Loki’s creators are writer Stan Lee, scripter Larry Lieber, and penciller Jack Kirby!

4. A version of the character first appeared in Venus on 1949!

5. The modern-day incarnation of Loki first appeared in Journey into Mystery 1962!

6. Loki is Asgardian God of Mischief and Prince of Lies!

7. He was adopted by Odin.

8. He is brother and often the enemy of the superhero Thor!

9. Loki is based on the Norse deity of the same name and is sometimes depicted as an anti-hero!!

10. Loki has schemed against Thor and Asgard for ages and his cosmic meddling led to the formation of the Avengers!

11. He was recently reincarnated as a teen.

12. He has decided to try to reform, and is now a part of the Young Avengers.

13. Loki is the birth son of the Frost Giant Laufey, the former King of the Ice realm.

14. Odin declared war and killed Laufey. When he saw Loki as a baby, he adopted him!

15. This was to follow a prophecy done by his father Bor.

16. Loki was not like his brother Thor, He proved to be a mischievous child, and was often also jealous of the affection Odin showed his older brother Thor.

17. He became one of the strongest sorcerers in the Asgard.

18. Loki is well-known for cutting off the long, golden hair of Thor’s love, Sif.

19. Loki is best known for fighting Thor, and other heroes in the Marvel Universe.

20. Unfortunately for Loki, Thor gained the throne of Asgard.

21. He often tried to seize the throne of Asgard and perpetrated numerous crimes. Eventually, his crimes grew so great that Odin himself was forced to take drastic action.

22. He trapped Loki inside a tree as punishment for his crimes. Loki, however was very skilled in magic and escaped.

23. Dissatisfied, he wandered until he found Eldred, a sorcerer. Eldred was amazingly skilled and powerful in magic, and he specialized in black magic. Eldred taught Loki in the black arts until Loki was as skilled as him. Loki left with his new abilities, and found someone who could enhance his power even more. Surtur the fire demon!

24. He sold Eldred’s soul to Surtur for power, and gained even more power, and all of Eldred’s lands, minions, and possessions.

25. Loki learned of a prophecy. Ragnarok. In Ragnarok, it was fated that he would bring about Asgard’s ruin. He would lead the enemies of Asgard into a war against Asgard, kill Balder, and destroy the whole place!

26. He often tried to destroy Asgard and bring about Ragnarok, but Odin stopped him.

27. However, he had such crafty schemes that no one could prove he did it.

28. His brother Thor had become arrogant. He also got proud and selfish. One day, while fighting a Frost Giant, he chased it into Frost Giant territory. This nearly caused a war!

29. Odin was so angry. He decided to punish Thor. He created a mortal body for Thor, Donald Blake, stripped Thor of his powers and memories, and trapped him inside the body of Donald Blake.

30. Tom Hiddleston portrays Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, first appearing in the 2011 live action film Thor, and then again in The Avengers (2012), Thor: The Dark World (2013), and Thor: Ragnarok (2017). He is about to reprise his role in both Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and its untitled sequel (2019).
