- Wanda was born March 7, 1964.
- She was born in Portsmouth, Virginia but In the third grade she moved to Maryland.
- Marion Louise was her mother and she worked as a banker. Her dad, Harry Ellsworth Sykes, was a U.S. Army colonel employed at the Pentagon.
